"I use 3Rings to host my personal website (http://www.jeffbook.co.nz). I
have previously been the unpaid administrator of small websites, and this
previous experience helped me install the Drupal Content Management System
on Jeffbook. Now I can distribute endless information for very little cost
- something which wouldn't be possible if I used letters or flyers. 3Rings
uses Auckland-based servers, which means that Jeffbook loads very quickly
for readers based in New Zealand.
Also, the range of webmail programs is excellent. As a 3Rings customer, I
can choose between three different webmail programs: Hoard, the most
advanced program; Round Cube, the modern and simplistic program; or
Squirrel Mail. Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird can also be
configured. It is true that free, transferable email services do exist;
but these services are ruined by targeted advertising and celebrity
gossip.
I highly recommend hosting personal and non-profit sites with 3Rings. And
on that note, I don't know why I wouldn't host a business site either."
